Our approach to meditating through sound is rooted in the lineage of Nāda Yoga — the yoga of sound. In this tradition, meditation is practiced through deep listening. Sound and silence become the teacher, guiding awareness inward and helping the body, mind, and spirit return to balance.

In Nāda Yoga, sound takes two forms: Ahata Nāda, the tones we hear from instruments, voice, or movement, and Anahata Nāda, the subtle vibrations that arise in silence. Together, they guide the practice — the outer sounds help steady the body and mind, while the inner resonance gently draws awareness inward, inviting a deeper connection with oneself.

By meditating with sound and allowing space for silence, we begin to notice how vibrations move through us — shaping attention, calming the nervous system, and allowing the mind and body to settle. Regular practice strengthens focus, supports regulation, and opens space for stillness to emerge naturally.

About Inner Stillness Meditation

This is a sound-based meditation that unfolds into silence. Participants may meditate seated or reclined as carefully chosen frequencies (Ahata Nāda) guide awareness inward, cultivating clarity, inner peace, and balance within the nervous system. The vibrations help release tension and restore harmony, inviting participants to notice subtle internal rhythms and settle into a centered, present state. As the sound softens into silence, awareness deepens into Anahata Nāda— the unstruck sound that can be felt within once the body and mind have been attuned through vibration.

About Grounding Om Meditation

A (ah) vibrates in the lower belly, connecting to grounding and the body.
U (oo) resonates in the chest, supporting heart openness and emotional balance.
M (mm) vibrates in the head and sinuses, helping focus the mind and connect to inner clarity

After chanting in a seated position, participants are invited to either remain seated or transition to a reclined position to receive the sound in whatever way feels most supportive. The practice continues with a sound bath meditation using grounding frequencies (Ahata Nāda) and concludes with a period of silence (Anahata Nāda) to allow the inner resonance to emerge.

This meditation is especially supportive for those seeking grounding, balance, and reconnection with the body — particularly after periods of stress, overthinking, or emotional intensity.

Everything you need is provided — a cushioned mat, head pillow, bolster, blanket, and eye cover. All are optional to use, and you’re welcome to bring your own cushion. You may choose to meditate seated or reclined.

Registration ends two hours prior to the start of the session.
